RSS feed launched on Hassocks NHW
The Hassocks Neighbourhood Watch website has launched an RSS feed. The feed is intended to provide the very latest local crime alert information and local Neighbourhood Watch news, not just for the Hassocks area but for the whole of Mid Sussex.
By harnessing RSS technology the site can now provide up-to-the-minute crime alerts for local residents and businesses. Site visitors can add the feed to their RSS reader programs and set it to alert them whenever the feed is updated, thus enabling users to get information in a timely manner. Julie-Ann Cole, the Mid Sussex Neighbourhood Watch Secretary said, "I totally endorse it [the RSS feed] and feel the RSS facility is a most effective and efficient tool providing valuable dissemination of information for our members."
