Fuel Thefts
In the Ardingly area several vehicles have suffered fuel thefts. The advice is to park in your locked garage (if you have one) or in a well-lit area, and always lock your vehicle and set the alarm. Think about parking in such a way that could frustrate access to the rear or fuel filling area. Report any suspicious behaviour around vehicles to 101 or 999 if a crime is in progress. [16-05-13]

As it appears these thefts are being carried out by skilled burglars, please review your security and consider storing your valuable kit indoors at night. Outbuilding thefts tend to increase in the summer months so take the necessary steps now. [13-05-13]
