Neighbourhood Specialist Teams and PCSOs supporting Neighbourhood Watch in Mid Sussex

Mid Sussex falls in the North Downs section of Sussex Police's Neighbourhood Policing Neighbourhood Specialist Teams.  The aim of Neighbourhood Watch in Mid Sussex is to develop and maintain a close working relationship with the Neighbourhood Policing team members through communication with the local Police Community Support Officer (PCSO), Specialist Sergeant (NSS), Specialist Constable (NSC) and the Crime Prevention Coordinator (CPC) based at Crawley.

Our Neighbourhood Watch schemes are made up of homes that form a cohesive community group whose members work together to develop and maintain a safe environment.  Members are encouraged to employ suitable physical security methods and to be vigilant.  Local residents are best placed to recognise suspicious activity within their community, information from schemes is very valuable.
